What The Wyvern Said

Rika stared at Chihiro, who sat three rows in front of her in history. They had continued on to the Sino-Japanese War now. What boredom. She knew that the girl with the white hair and red hoodie was the one the wyvern had told her to find in her dream. She waited for her teacher to say that the class was over. He didn't for thirty minutes.

"Class is over! For homework: A one thousand word report on the Sino-Japanese War! Remember the project due next thursday!" Rika stood up immediately, and couldn't help noticing that Chihiro had too. She walked over to her. "Tsuruya!" She called. The girl turned around, surprised. "What?"
Rika suddenly realized that she had no idea what to say. Why hadn't she rehearsed it in her head? "Uh... have you had a dream?" She asked, and after she said it, she knew she was right.
"What?"
"Did you have a dream? Did you wake up with red eyes?"
Silence.
"How did you know this?" The red eyes stared at her.
"It was what the wyvern said," Rika blurted out, without thought. Too late.
"Wyvern? What wyvern?" Chihiro narrowed her eyes.
Rika was suddenly silent. She realized that she should say no more. A voice echoed in her mind- Be silent, Rika. I will handle it from now. Rika looked at Chihiro. "I will say no more," she said, her voice quiet once more, and she turned and was gone. Lunch. That was when she'd find the others.

Rika saw the lavender haired boy at a table by himself. She walked over to him and sat next to him. "Hello."

(does anyone want to continue this? I have to go)

  1. Suddenly Chihiro slid next to the boy with violet hair. "Hi Kenta. Thanks for what you did today." She stared at him with soft eyes.

  4. Kenta's cheeks blushed a light pink, along with various shades of red. "I'll be going now...See you guys later, I guess." He grabbed his lunch tray, about to leave.

  6. Kenta's cheeks turned a deeper red. "No, shouldn't I be going now? My..." Here, he cleared his throat. "Erm..Friends would be wondering where I am."

  7. Rika looked at Kenta. "You don't have anywhere to go," she said. "No offense. You were visited by a dark creature. Judging from your personality, I would say probably a... kind of canine or feline? Wolf, perhaps, or fox, or dog?" Rika smirked at his expression. "Yeah, I know."

  8. Chihiro tipped her head in confusion. "A wolf visited me...he told me that I have a decision to make. But before that, he bit my ankle." She bent down to lift up the lower part of her skinny jeans, but the bell rang. "Darn it. I'll check it later." She smiled at Kenta, gave him an air-kiss, then skipped to her next class.

    (I'll make a post)

  9. Alright, guys. I need to meet another character, but apparently nobody wants to meet Leiko! Should she just meet everyone after they figure out what's going on, or what? I'm just wondering... I know she's a side character, but... yeah. Never mind. Forget I said anything.

  10. Rika gave Chihiro a weird look, then looked back at Kenta. "So... did you?"

  11. "I...." No, Kenta. Don't tell them. Not until I fully give you my power. "And when will that be?" he snapped. Rika looked curiously at Kenta, and he turned away. "Not that I remember."

  12. Rika shook her head, as a voice rang inside her head. >He knows. He doesn't want to tell you... or at least, his moonlight fox doesn't want him to.< "You know, Kenta Aoyomi. You do not want to tell me..." Rika drifted off, then she looked up at him again. "But I will not probe you, for your fox instructs you not, and it is not my place to tell a spirit animal what to do." Her voice didn't seem like her own. It echoed in her head, like some kind of bell. Another voice overlay it. The dark wyvern's.

  13. Kenta's heart thumped. She knows. The dark wyvern's spirit doesn't want you to. Just follow, but watch out for that spirit, there's something...different about her. "I..." His red eyes looked over to the bell, hoping it would ring. "I'm not hiding anything. I don't remember a fox, or canine for that matter. I've...got to go...somewhere...right now...but, nice speaking with you." Kenta nodded quickly, running to his next class with his backpack slung over his shoulder.

  14. Rika smiled softly. She would get it out of him eventually. For now, though, she wold have to be patient. She leaned back in her seat, not feeling hungry even though she had not eaten since last night's bowl of rice and japanese curry for dinner. She looked at the clock. Five minutes before the bell rang. Might as well leave. Gathering her books, she stood up and walked calmly off to her next class.
